Joe Imperatrice from Blue Lives NYC to be Recognized by Italian American Heritage Society of Long Island

Blue Lives NYC was founded by Christopher Brinkley, Carlos Delgado, and Joseph Imperatrice after the execution-style deaths of Detectives Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos on December 20, 2014. Since its inception, the organization has raised nearly $4 million with an all-volunteer-based board and volunteer staff. They have been specifically helpful to the families of Long Island residents, Detectives Diller & Simonsen and Sergeant Paul Tuozzolo.

Imperatrice will be honored at the inaugural Long Island Italian Celebration, hosted by the Italian American Heritage Society of Long Island, for his dedication to law enforcement, especially the aid provided to Long Island law enforcement heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.

He is an Italian American with 18.5 years of law enforcement experience. He started his career in Operation Impact, Patrol, SNEU (Street Narcotics Enforcement Unit), Supervisor of Plain Clothes Anti-Crime, Detective Squad Supervisor, Real Time Crime Center Supervisor, and is currently a Detective Bureau Supervisor. He is a frequent contributor on Fox News and Newsmax and has been featured on the Netflix series “Explained” and Vice.

Tickets and sponsorships are available for the event now. More honorees will be announced in the coming days!
